The work

It isn't the dirt you can see.

Moss and lichen root into the pores of concrete and hold water there. Left alone, the surface stays damp, goes slippery through winter, and the staining sets deeper each season.

So we run the machine at the right pressure for the surface — enough to lift the growth out of the pores, not so much that it scars the concrete or strips paint off weatherboard. Different surface, different tip, different distance.

Why now

Moss doesn't take the winter off. By the time you can see it from the letterbox, it has been growing for two seasons.

    We turn up when we said, bring our own machine and hoses, work the surface evenly so it dries without stripes, and sweep the mess off your lawn before we go.
